This page explains what information Halate ("we", "us") collects through halate.io, why we collect it, and how it's handled. Halate is operated as a VOF (general partnership) registered in the Netherlands.
When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, company name, and any details about your project (budget, timeline, project type, and your message).
We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking. If we add analytics in the future (to understand which pages are useful to visitors), this page will be updated and a cookie notice will appear on your first visit, with the option to decline.
Information submitted through the contact form is used only to respond to your enquiry — to evaluate your project, reply by email, and, if we move forward, to plan and deliver the work. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Contact form submissions are processed by Netlify (our hosting provider) and delivered to our email inbox. Email is handled by our email provider. Both are standard infrastructure providers and process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security policies.
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it's relevant to an active or potential project, and for our own business records (e.g. for accounting purposes, as required under Dutch law). If you'd like us to delete information you've sent us, contact us and we'll do so unless we're required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you, and the right to object to how it's processed. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@halate.io — we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
halate.io currently sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies strictly necessary for the site to function (for example, to remember that you've dismissed a notice) may be used and don't require consent under ePrivacy rules. If that changes, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@halate.io.
